First Practical Lesson

Yesterday, was my first on the lab-practical lesson in University of Augsburg, which is Scanning Electron Microscope. I never use this tool by myself. So it is quite nervous to do that. My class was divided into three groups. Each group contain of 4-5 students. I was join in group B contains 5 students start 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm. My friend is from Brazil named Leonardo, from India named Vipul and two other pretty ladies, but i dont know their name, I hope in the next time. The tutor is German named Jan.
After Jan explained about SEM. He asked us to use the SEM by ourselves. And start with Brazilian girl. Each student have to take 2-3 pictures of the sample. The samples are the grain of steel and the filamen of taken from light bulb. Because I got the last turn, so I have to take the pictures of filamen from the light bulbs. And it was goin well although it was my first time using SEM. Little bit playing with SEM, magnifying, scanning, find the right spot, decide which detector will be used. Yeah, finally I get these pictures:
Not so bad for beginner, right??

wah, kuliah di sono praktikumnya aja pk SEM..
di indo, univ yg punya SEM/TEM aja dikit bgt..

@ Riri Audiya: bener, saya jadi inget pas riset buat skripsi dulu pas nyari alat HPLC dan LC-MS susahnya amit-amit. makanya banyak banget alat yg bisa dicoba kalo kuliah disini. Nambah ilmu praktek juga. Thanks dah berkunjung.
