Doing Something For Community

My friend’s blog Nich, has proved that doing something for community is another way to earn feedback from someone outside community. This blog, for instance, provided space for another blogger around North Sumatera and trying to improve the community to be better. With offline meeting (i dont know how to explain “kopi darat” in English :)). Two major advantages I concluded from this blog.

First, building your own community make your self (blog in this case) has a lot of friend that will come regularly to your blog. Thus, will enhance your social status from a friend into a family. Regular visitors are a great asset for your blog, definitily. If you have one thats good. But if you have one hundred, it’s even better. The point is keep on building your community. They won’t pay us directly, but someone will. Who?? That is my second conclucion.

Someone here, in the blogosphere, named Google PageRank. Nich earn his pagerank 3 in his main page just for 2 months blogging! Wow, nice work then. I believe this is the major effect of what I am say Doing Something For Community. Just like Newton third law : Law of reciprocal action, there will be a reaction if there is an action. Nich has prove it, why don’t you?
